Hello!

I'm Rosaline and I am the proud founding jeweller behind the shell.

I am a qualified silversmith and jeweller with a BA Hons degree. I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in November 2014 and after a 6 year absence from the world of jewellery making, I rediscovered my trusted piercing saw during the summer lockdown of 2020. Alongside this, I entered the world of crystals and what a world it is! As a result, you will find plenty of gemstone and crystal jewellery, in sterling silver too!

Although I graduated with a silversmithing degree, my true passion and love for jewellery making lies amongst the upcycled. I love the challenge of creating something utterly new and unique from something unwanted and discarded. The environment and the local wildlife is at the heart of everything I make and do.

In the Little Red Snail garden, I am passionate about the wildlife and environment. I want to help protect it and I would love to help you do the same.

So when you receive your Snail Mail, no single use plastics will ever be used as packaging and all will be 100% recyclable or reusable. All materials, from postal boxes to gemstones, are carefully researched and supplied by reputable UK stockists and suppliers, or from destash groups, charity shops or independent UK sellers. This includes all sterling silver, and in most cases, even the sterling silver is part of a recycled range!

So you can rest assured knowing your Little Red Snail jewellery has a very small carbon slimeprint indeed!
